Iowa Polygraph Society(IPS) Mission

The mission of the IPS shall be to advance the use of the polygraph as a professional service by all sectors of society by:

  • promotion of research into instruments and techniques
  • the improvement of the quality of polygraph examiners
  • unifying polygraph examiners throughout the general membership
  • advancing scientific, professional, and public acceptance of the polygraph technique
  • keeping the IPS informed of member sentiment and urging the membership's active participation.
